Okay. Last night of May 24, 2011, Legend of Zorks will close it's gates to adventures on May 31 from nood BST. This is really shocking news to all of those active players at Legends of Zork. To think that playing with my character "Raspe" feels like yesterday. (Or several months.) I'm not crying per se, but I will miss my nightly/daily routine of adventuring and leveling up Raspe till she can get to Lvl. 100. So if this is gone, I don't know how to adventure my daily routine anymore. And Utopia Kingdoms (Jolt's upcoming Facebook game(?)) can not replace the glory of LoZ. This will also end Raspe's cliff-hanger story, staring with a young traveling tax collector to a human in a steam-bot armor, and slowly gain her blood and a bunny suit. Top of that she is never alone with her spiritual friend "Misuke". So to members of CoZ, what are you going to do at your LoZ spare time once LoZ is closed? Will you depart CoZ (the forums) for good to move on with your life? Or will you guys stick around and figure out how to revive it's clan name on another game... Clan of Zork brings my adventures more brighter with equip donations to Coconut raffles, and to adventuring with the people I know. Also the "guild wars" was memorable with spys and arena smashings (and I was the "nurse"). I will never forget those times. So yea, discuss and plan on what to do with CoZ once the game shuts down... - Raspe Attachments:

I still play zOMG pretty often. But I'm trying to quit Zoo World (a friend started me on it - my mistake for following her).

I used to play zOMG for a few minutes, but i'm more of a Trickster Online player. If anyone wants to follow me, I can find space open for my guild~ (It's a client-download game...)
Today was also a good day despite the LoZ closure. Last day of Anime Club and a very interesting art exhibition @ my college area. (I like bizarre "modern" art and performance.)

Sorry, Trickster is Windows-only. I have a Mac.
Olivia Rae (named after my daughter and a friend of hers) started as an alt. My main was doing the Mind/Spirit route, so I played her as a Body/Spirit just to be different.
Olivia Rae grew to be much more interesting than my old main, and had the bonus of serving as an officer in CoZ. She became my main. I eventually retired my old main.

Thanks Olivia Rae for your work on COZ. I was the founder of COZ a long time ago - sad to see that it has all gone away now but happy to see how much fun those who came after managed to have in the short time available. Here's the original post announcing COZ, at least we'll still have respect and puppies no matter what happens.... <BEGIN> raydroid 27-05-2009, 14:54 Hey everyone, I have an interesting Clan that you can consider joining - Clan of Zork Clan of Zork has unique features that you will want to try: First of all we are open to everyone - always - don't expect us to add rules restricting membership or imposing some sort of minimum criteria. Secondly we have our own clan web site www.clanofzork.comEvery member that joins will have their very own blog - open to the world - serves as a great way to encourage new people to join and provides a great way to brag about your explots. We also have Instant Messaging via our web site - now you no longer have to play in silence - cut off from your clan members. And finally we have a current promotion - every day we are going to pick from among our clan members and gift 10 coconuts. We'll keep doing that until June 5th and then announce a new promotion. Here's our mission statement: The mission of Clan of Zork is to help every character reach his or her potential by fostering skills growth, personal growth, and tolerance and respect for each other. Of course we combine this with plenty of exploring, questing, arena work and bandying about with swords, clubs and arrows in hopes of dispatching anything that moves. And mayhem, lots of mayhem... (Begins foaming at the mouth, then stops and recovers composure) But really we're just all about respect and puppies.
