Yea. Kind of curious, but I also want to get this running and hopefully we can get to know each other by sharing our favorite games. To get a start, you notice that I have added my "status signature" bar right below my signature graphic. I have gone though many "MMO" games before I have decided to give LoZ a try (thanks to GameStop)... So what games do I play? I'll go follow by the online/offline categories: Online (MMOs) :Offline: So umm.. That's a start. ^^; I guess you can tell that i'm the typical "anime fangirl" (yes i'm a girl). But I don't mind any Western art style, which it's the reason why I enjoy LoZ. Now lets start by sharing your favorite games!

I tend to prefer things with a story, but that's not always the case? My taste in games is about as eclectic as my taste in music and books. So.
I did really like the original Zork games (I still play through them sometimes), although I didn't really like the first one to come out with imaging (I could just be biased, though). I play text-based games online sometimes. It depends. I'm not too into online games in general, but some I like enough to lurk around.
I'm playing through a weird selection at the moment, I guess? I'm doing Final Fantasy 9 (I've no idea why, actually, I assume I had a reason to begin with but I've completely forgotten what that was), Pokemon (...I know, I can't help it. I kinda like the pokewalker. It's amusing in my down-time at work, when I don't have the time to actually power anything up / have misjudged how much of a book I could read and accidentally left myself without any more reading material), God of War (I don't think I need reasons to play things, actually. But I feel that this needs parenthesis too) and Mass Effect 2.
And Golden Sun, but yeah.
I can't do one thing at once. I also tend to read eight books at a time, or something equally ridiculous.
So, yeah.
I'm not sure what my favourite games are. I always have issues with that question, so I kind of ignored it and just said what I'm playing now. I mean, I like a lot of things? It's like asking for a favourite book, or movie. It depends on my mood, or the day, or what's clearest in my mind at that moment in time, you know? Or there are things I like or don't like about certain aspects of the gameplay. Or...yes. I like trying almost everything at least once, but usually games with stories of some sort (...or shooters, solo, sometimes. Or puzzlers, a lot?) and...yes.
I'll end this ramble here.

Well, I enjoy kind of a variety of games. All of which, however, I play on PC. I don't own a console unless you count a Nintendo DS as a console. FPS(First Person Shooters): Halo, Call of Duty4 as well as Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield2 Bad Company, Crysis, FarCry2. Half-Life1 and 2 and the episodes were great too. RPG(Role Playing Games): GuildWars, Oblivion, Dungeon Siege2, and of course LoZ. Some of the games I play kinda fall in between the two. Mass Effect 1 and 2 I enjoy, as well as Fallout3 and Assassin's Creed. So as you can kinda tell, at the moment I'm an avid PC gamer and enjoy a wide variety.

I used to MUD a lot, moved on to EQ, Dark age of Camelot, SWG, WOW, currently playing EVE. I love getting a group of folks together and taking down something challenging.
I play strategy games as well, pretty much whatever I can get my hands on but Total Annihilation is still my favorite. I love the huge selection of units rather than being restricted to three or four basic types. (Something about amphibious assault tanks supported by artillery just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.)
Zork is the only browser game I'm playing at the moment, mainly as something to do when I only have 10-15 minutes or so.

I loved Travian, but I had to quit because of the time-sucking. Great, exciting game, though. Half SimCity and half war game.

Right now I'm playing WoW(taking a break though cause it's the end of my semester) an old, awesome game called Vampires:The Masquerade: Bloodlines (TWO Colons? you bet) and Dragon Age. I'm also playing Wild Arms: Alter Code F cause i finally found it after three years of searching for my missing copy.

Oh yeah, almost forgot about DragonAge:Origins. Love that game. Takes some getting used to at first but once you become familiarized with the movements and controls it's a blast to play.

Vampires:The Masquerade: Bloodlines (TWO Colons? you bet) Ok, I don't know which is worse, a game so pretentious that it needs to define itself TWICE, or that I know (and have played) it, as well as the "Table top" version. (which only needs to call itself Vampire: Masquerade) I play WoW, Zork, Utopia, and that's about it. I work full time and take online classes as well, so between that and attempts at a social life (although as soon as I get drunk and start threatening to roll my D20, my social life kind of goes down the tube anyways) I'm a pretty busy little bee. Officially though I don't exist, since female gamers are mythical on a level something like.... "you see a completely unguarded cave filled with untainted treasure, that no one else knows about. You roll for traps, and find none. You roll spot check, and see nothing amiss. You roll listen check, and hear the faint echoes of your own breath off the cave walls and nothing else... Oh, and laying at your feet is a Bag of Limitless Holding..." .

Hang on! You mean there's a world beyond the realms of Zork?
Naaaa, you're kidding right?

Ok, I don't know which is worse, a game so pretentious that it needs to define itself TWICE, or that I know (and have played) it, as well as the "Table top" version. (which only needs to call itself Vampire: Masquerade) that game is awesome if you haven't played it, steal it or something and get the unofficial patches. I'm in a regular game group for the pen and paper game also. but we are playing Mage right now and not Vampires. Also, reinstalling Elder Scrolls IV. Hoping there are some interesting mods that came out since i last played it. I just this morning had a real strong urge to play it again.

I've played it. I have oodles of Mage: Ascention Books Until White Wolf decided to have their "Time of Judgement" bullsh*t. Everything since has sucked. My fave is the changing breeds, specifically Bastet or Rokea. I would love to run a game or two, but alas, in my current locale, using your imagination is of the debbil.

Let's see, current ones are Dragon Age: Origins, MOO3, and Alpha Centauri (or SMAC). Have tons of other games to get too, but the above are game time vacuums .
