as for myself I own a glock 22 (40 cal) and a select fire ak47 which i absolutely love its just hard to find somewhere to shoot it around here even in Tn lol. i just recently got my carry permit, and it was a breeze. I am looking for a streetsweeper or saiga auto shotgun as soon as i am able to go back to work.

I used to have 3 SKS's, now down to 1 after selling them to pay bills, etc. No where to shoot down here in SC either. I used to live in Vermont, had my own little chunk of a mountain and we'd go thru 1000 rounds some weekends with the 3 SKS's. That was back when 7.62x39 was $80 per 1000 tho. Got some pics of 'the camp' at gonenorth.com if you want to check em out. I've still got about 5 rifles, and the 18inch Mossberg 500 for home defense, and a couple of .357 revolvers so I'm ready should anyone be dumb enough to try a home invasion, but don't have a CWP. Vermont has permitless concealed or open carry so paying a couple hundred bucks for a permit and mandatory training down here kind of rubs me the wrong way. oh, that would be a yes to your question eb adding a pic of your badass clan leader at the Derby, VT Range ;D and another at the camp

Thanks for the pics eb, always nice to put a face to the writer, and I love the countryside too although your neigbours are probably a little further away than mine...lol I wish I could have a gun here in France, but other than join a gun club or worse still, the local hunt club full of arrogant pissheads who can't shoot straight then there's a fat chance. I have a drawer full of .22 rounds but nothing to put them in ?? I had a really nice airgun (chinese "lion", breech loading) but broke it when I beefed up the spring tooo much. It was from my youth when I belonged to a gun club back in the UK. Have shot all sorts back then...my favorite was the Ruger Redhawk 4". We'd spend all friday and saturday night hand making rounds in my friend's loft, then blast the lot on sunday ;-) Having something for shooting rabbits here would be cool as I love rabbit pie. Could you post me something piece by piece perhaps and I'll assamble it as it arrives....lol
I had a Gurthian Musket some time ago too :-)

I live in California, where they are trying to ban all guns from everyone except law enforcement and gangs it seems. Luckily I am with the former, but my main experience & training has been with handguns and shotguns. My favorite handgun is the Springfield Arms .40 cal. Its a total knockoff of my Glock service weapon, but for 1/2 the price and so far more reliable. Unfortunately I haven't been able to put in any range time recently, but I hoping to change that soon.
