Getting ready to watch Game 7 of the Boston Bruins vs Philadelphia Flyers in the battle for Lord Stanley's Cup. Don't know if there are any other hockey fans out there, but I've been watching the Bruins since I was about 2. One of my earliest memories is them winning the Stanley Cup back in 1971 and I was born in '68. Now that I'm in South Carolina (not hockey central by any means) I have to watch the game thru online streams. If you go to myp2p.eu there are several sporting events streamed. You will need to install SopCast player. It works on Windows or Linux systems (I run Ubuntu 10.4) and the quality is as good as cable TV. (avoid the justin.tv or ustream links, they are all crap quality) Anyways, I'm waiting for the game to start, a bit tense as the B's haven't won a Stanley Cup since 1972, so I figured I'd let you know what my big Friday night plans are and in case anyone else is into hockey, or just wants to see the greatest sport on the planet at it's finest, to let you know how to see if for free and maybe have a few more folks rooting for the Bruins tonight. If they win they play Montreal for the Eastern Championship, then if they win that they play for the Cup. Hockey playoffs teams play a game every 2 days for almost 3 months as they work for the Cup or get eliminated. Baseball is a game, Hockey is a sport. About 45 minutes til the puck drops at The Garden, time to put on the Black and Gold! Let's Go Bruins! eb
